The Reason behind Hathi Gaon Jaipur:

Hathi Gaon Jaipur in Rajasthan was developed as a new artistic project and a cultural effort to pay homage to Indian traditions and the role of elephants in these traditions.

The project’s objective was to offer a distinct space for life-sized elephant sculptures representing the cultural importance of Rajasthan, where elephants played a critical and cultural role.

Along with the creation of Hathi Gaon Jaipur, the lives of the elephants were also taken care of, and people came to know the value of elephants in Rajasthan. It offers visitors a chance to admire and comprehend the link between the elephants and the cultural mosaic of Rajasthan.

The tourism department has given the forest department control of Hathi Gaon, which indicates that they want to continue caring for the elephants and their habitat.
